I have already the wooden template, the one withe the image of a rampant lion

But now

HOW DO I EXACTLY USE IT TO CREATE MY COA?

Any detailed help would be appreciated, i've tried it on Photoshop and GIMP and have no idea what to do.... all i see is "layers" ( I donno what a layer is) and thats all

Keep it simple at first: create the image you want as a COA as a 128 by 128 bitmap image, with 8 or 24-bit colour.
Name it TAG.bmp and put it in \gfx\Coa in the CK folder, where TAG is the tag it is for (either something like GWYN for the duchies/kingdoms, or C123 for a province).

The wooden template is for use if you want to make an advanced CoA, and are familiar with programs Photosoup or Gimp. You should play with the layers and transparencies to overlay the template (not the lion -- just the "wood") over your own CoA.

Take a look at existing CoAs made with the template to see how the endresult ought to look.
