I've created (or rathr C&P) the excel .csv file for the leaders and ministers for some countries for my Kaiserreich game, but I came across a problem. I do not think the game file is recognizing the ministers of the countries in question. Here's an example.

What should I do to rectify that problem?

When creating ministers:

*Make sure the correct country tag is in the beginning of the minister .csv file
*Make sure you have cabinet and replacement ministers
*Make sure minister ID's are unique. It doesn't matter if the minister is the same person (ex. Stalin for Head of Government and Stalin for armament minister), each instance of a minister needs a unique id. A simple solution if you copied and pasted is to go find and replace all <starting values of old minister ids> with <randomly high value>
*Make sure ministers are not dormant in the scenario
*Make sure ministers start dates are available.

How can you check to see which ones aren't sharing an id and if they're dormant or not?

Other than that, everything seems to check out.
Generally the game will notify you if you share minister ids, or you can test using the editor (don't make changes using it, just test, there are a few files which need to be made "read only" so the editor doesn't mess them up when used).

Dormancy is in the scenario file. If you go to Doomsday/scenarios/<scenario name folder>/<country name>.inc and view the .inc file, if the minister id is under dormant = {<here>}, it will be dormant, but this shouldn't occur unless you specifically added it, so by default shouldn't be an issue.

If you added newafrica, consider African People's Republic (tag UAP I think) as the basis for a communist/syndicalist country.

And don't forget. Always leave a line at the end of the fille blank, or your last Minister will not appear.

And if you C&P'd an existing file, they'll all have dup(licat)e id's

Start the file with a new number (say 78001 for minister 1) and work through the list.

PS. Sweet skin for the CSA!

hrm, well the game never notified me about sharing ministers when I did, unless I have to save the file and play it again, in which case, I'll do so. As for the dormancy, these releasable nations do not have .inc files, so I don't know if that is a problem in itself.

Try checking in the editor. Not releasable .incs insn't a problem, there should be no dormancy issues with revolters.
