How to psause a game

i know it sounds stupid, but i just bought a dell studio 1735 laptop and it has no pause key!!! so when i played EU2, it is impossible to pause it. i tried to look up the interent to find some shortcut/ remapped/ replacement for the pause key but no luck... the suggestions from wikipedia doesnt work. so anyone please help

you mean like in the game? if so where? my laptop doesnt has the key/ button

in the top right corner there's a little icon (i don't know the word in English but it's a time-measuring device with sand in glass...) if you click that, the game will pause
