I can't get the new patch to work

hey all
I just downloaded the 1.07 patch from this website but now when I try to play it says I still have the 1.06b 31 march beta patch. I can't play mp cause it says I have the wrong version. I tried to reinstall EU2 and the 1.07 patch but still it's that 1.06b beta. Does anyone know why this is? If so, what can I do to correct the problem?

Lets let the profesionals in the EU2 support forum handle this.

Make sure you have completely uninstalled EU2 before reinstalling. Ie remove ALL files.

Install 1.07 patch.

Presto!

Okay...all kidding aside this is pretty much what you need to do. Follow the FAQ link in my sig and then go to the "Uninstall" section because there are a few special things you'll need to do when uninstalling. Once you've gone through them all, reinstall from CD and then apply the 1.07 patch and you should be fine.
