Why os the manual so historically dedicated. I can´t even find how to get men in my ship. It just said in the manual "ships were very important in 1459 etc.". The manual should give more info. That´s what a manual is for. It´s hard to find int he manual.
Nad btw Patrick. I have a problem with my game. Maybe u don´t have time. Tell me if u can help.

Whn I try to install the game it sais "should I remove all the installed components".
Be4 i couldn´t uninstall it, so I remived the folder, and the went in to regedit and removed it´s remainings there. There isn´t anything left in regedit, and the folder is gone.
But when I put in the CD it sais "install or "exit". So i Choose install, put still that shows up.
But there isn´t Europa Universalis in the "add/remove" group now.
What can I do?

Believe me . I tried to uninstall it. In the "Add/remove" and in the game folder(i don´t remember if it had an uninstall there).
But it didn´t uninstall. So I had to do this.
Is it only me?
It said. "uninstall succesfully". BUt it was still in the "program group". And u could "uninstall it" again. but it didn´t remove.

I had/have this problem too.
I use Win NT and, of course, had problems with the installation.
After the first deinstallation (deletion) I couldn't install the game again.
Now I'm using a simple copy of the game from another comp running with Win 2000.

Yeah, I think the threat says it all, but there are two things you have to do when installing isn't succesfull or a delete doesn't do it (and it won't):

- In the uninstall info folder (I think under Program Files) you'll have to view the setup.ini files in the subfolders. One of them says clearly it belongs to eu. Delete this subfolder.
- using regedit (utilising execute or something, my Dutch version of ME says "uitvoeren"), search for Paradox entertainment in one of these register folders. Delete the Paradox registry folder.

If u don't trust yourself with this (now we don't wanna mess up the Compu), read the thread in the support section of the Forum. It's got a more detailed instruction.
