I just installed the new Kickstand Update and when I try to play an error appears

Every time I try to launch the game from the Paradox Launcher as usual, an error pops up, saying:


"The exception Integer division by zero.
(0xc0000094) occurred in the application at location
0x0000001403E2F75.

Click on OK to terminate the program"

When I click okay, it immediately closes the application, and I'm still able to open the launcher.

I tried running the game five more times, but no luck.

Please help me, tell me what's wrong and how to fix it. Thanks.

You're not alone. Since this update, I am unable to open the game as well. I don't even get a pop-up, it just crashes every time I click "Play" in the launcher. Ridiculous.

We believe this is caused by mods. If you disable or unsubscribe from them all, do you still get this?

Either way, a fix should be out soon.

Yeah, just now I deleted the mods. The game loads but then it for some reason freezes. Just now I reported this to Paradox, and they said developers are working on a hotfix in the coming days. I should probably post this new problem.

Try delete/move your old save, it probably crash due to main menu screen shows your saves in the background. If u previously saved with mods it will crash etc. Save folder in user/appdata/local\Introversion. Solved my error, good luck.
