IGC-Tax setting disabled

When using the IGC configuration tool, I get the message :


"Unable to write to DB/tax_stab.csv : Tax setting may not be changed"


And indeed I can't change tax settings...


What gives?

A common problem

is that the files for some reason have their attributes changed. This is not an IGC doing however, AFAIK.

What you need to do is change the attribute of the files in the EU folder so that they are "archive" and turn read only off. Right click on the file and go to the properties page and then click off read only. You may need to do this with a bunch of files that the IGC writes to. You can use the shift key to highlight all files in asubdirectory and then right click to change all their properties to "archive".

Indeed, this is what will happen if a file is read-only... Better than crashing, me thinks.
