I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for a stupid newbie on how to improve neigbor relations. Right now I'm playing the GC as France, and I've waged a few fairly successful wars to capture some vital provinces, but my relations with my allies are getting strained because of it. What can I do to get along with them better? I'm afraid that once my alliances expire, nobody will want to ally with me.

Two few quick fixes:

1. Have a few years of peace to get your BadBoy rating down 4 years = 1 point decrease, (check out Badboy threads that fully discuss this).

2. Under Diplomatic options start giving some cash out as well as the other good ones like Royal Marrages etc.

Cheers, Ice:cool:

gift: fo to the diplomatic screen and choose letter of introduction (25d), personnal gift (100d) or state gift (250d)

very straightforward :D
