After playing this game for 1500 hours I'm still stumped on some inheritance stuff. Or at least, I've never seen what I'm now facing.
I was just installed as the HRE. I hold the Grand Duchy of Swabia, the duchy of swabia, and 5 counties within the Grand Duchy of swabia. Before becoming the HRE, I changed the inheritance laws to be agnatic elective, to avoid losing titles through gavelkind. So now I have a situation where my heir for the grandduchy is elected and is an uncle of mine. But the duchy of Swabia and all the counties are primogeniture agnatic, but for some reason my 1 year old daughter is the heir, despite being a female. And my I can't select her to be the heir of the grand duchy, as she is a female.
I just loaded a saved game before becoming the HRE, and all the titles (grand duchy, duchy and counties) all fall under the elective inheritance law. So, for some reason, after become emperor, the laws of the grand duchy aren't applying to my duchy and counties, and the duchy and counties have become agnatic primogeniture allowing a female to be heir. ugggg
Is this something ck2plus affects, or is this strictly vanilla territory?
