Insane Audio Problem

Hello,

First off, thanks for your time. I am having an absolutely insane problem.

I was playing Stellaris. I am chatting with my friend on Discord. He sends me a link on Steam to a game page for the game "Jumplight Odyssey".

I click the link. Nothing happens.

I click the link a few more times. Nothing happens.

Again a few more times for good measure. Nothing happens.

I give up and go to the Steam page for it directly thru search. I am watching the first trailer...

...when another trailer starts playing "somewhere". Then a few more. Then more. All my clicks, it seems have shown up... but still NO windows anywhere I can see.

I close the steam window. It keeps playing.
I close my browser. It keeps playing.
I close discord. It keeps playing.

I close Stellaris. It STOPS playing.

I restart my computer. Start Stellaris. THEY START PLAYING AGAIN.

I shut down my computer. Start again, start Stellaris. THEY START PLAYING AGAIN.

Stellaris has become corrupted with these trailers playing. It's constant and there is like ten of them playing. The game is unplayable now.

I tried loading my save directly, it happens. I tried loading just the game to the menu, it happens.

Quite frankly... wtf?

Please help me.

She Task Manager shut down "Steam Game Overlay UI" and the trailers STOPPED omg thank you wifey
