I have HOI2 v1.0 installed on my computer (XP) and it runs perfectly fine. However, I would like to patch to 1.3a but receive the "HOI2 not installed" error message. I immediately checked on my paradox registry and have discovered it is entirely missing. My only idea as to how this happened is one of my anti-virus/spyware programs may have deleted it. In any case, is it possible to reconstruct the necessary registry keys so I can then patch? Normally I would just manually delete the files and then install again but my disk has been destroyed.
Any help is appreciated and I will understand if that is impossible and am, as they say, "screwed".
