One thing that bugs me is the need to update every new version of the game even if the new version don't really affect the mod itself. Is there a way to make it compatible to more than the current version? Like i'm trying to make it compatible for 1.0.3 and the 1.1.0 beta patch because i don't want to upload 2 versions of the mod on steam. I know i can add an * for the last number but that doesn't work for the second...

It simply because the .mod file list the versions its compatible with. It dont even check code or anything, just that single line in the .mod file.

Should not, I updated and rolled back the beta with no issues.. Mods were still compatible
And most mods will stil work, even if its says out of date.
