I've been trying to rebuild the de jure Kingdom of Sarnor out of Saath, but even after I finish colonizing into the plains the culture/religion remains Dothraki/GreatStallion.
Is there anyway around this?

normally the colonized province should become culture/religion of your main province (capital).
If your capital is dothraki/stallion the province will stay with these, if your capital is for example Volantis it gets eastern valyrian/valyrian.

Whatever you do, don't move capital to the colony. Then it won't change.
