Issue with mods. I really need help !

Here's my problem : mods deactivate themselves for no reason whenever I restart my computer.

Basic example : I start my computer, I want to play CS Skylines, so I start the game , and I see all of my mods aren't activated, whereas they were before !

So now, I have to activate them all before playing my saves (old or new).

What's weird is I don't have to activate them when I restart the game. I have no problems or often no problems. The problem occurs when I start the game after starting my computer.

I already checked files with Steam, but it doesn't seem to solve the problem.

I think the problem comes out of my computer, as I have some other problems with it (clock stopped when PC's turned off, internet pages freeze with nothing in, etc...).

Almost sounds almost like your userGameState.cgs file is getting rolled back\restored to some prior version on boot up; certainly sounds like you got PC issues far beyond the game to resolve.

Oh it sounds really bad.

Where can I find the file you talked about ?

You can find it in c:\users\your-username\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines

You may have to make sure file explorer is set to show hidden folders depending on your ver of windows.

What should I see if there is a mistake in it ?
Should I use a tool to solve the problem (like CCleaner, or something like that).

Is there a way to solve the problem easily, cause I'm not the best , if you understand what I mean. (lol)

I also didn't say that, but clock stops ater turning off the computer. So maybe it can be the battery of the motherboard. If it is the origin of the problem... Dx

I don't know what is the origin of your problems but it seems pretty clear it's not the game itself is definitely something screwy with your computer. Usually you can replace the battery on your motherboard if it died, that said you problems may be more than that, beyond the scope of this forum.

I replaced the battery of the motherboard, as I had problem with the clock stopping itself when computer switched off.

I hope it solves the problem , but I no longer have problem with mods because I delete everything concerning Cities Skylines, even the saves (poor cities though, they were great).

The only thing left is the settings in game coming back to the original (I'm used to play with arrows to move in the cities, but it comes back to WASD touches, whereas I play on a AZERTY keyboard due to the fact I'm french, same for LUT coming back to none, legacy is on high position, etc...).

re: the settings not sticking, start the game as admin... it may simple not have permissions for some reason to write the changes.
If it persists post in the tech support area ( https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?forums/support-bug-reports.879/ )along with the output_log now that you know most of your pc issues are resolved.
