Hi guys.
I'm sorry to open another thread on a subject already discussed, and even worse, declared *closed* by the board moderators.
Still, I think it's important to spot out what's happening down here.
"Leader Spa", in charge of distributing and supporting EU2 in Italy, answered this way to our requests of informations (and interventions!) about the release of the 1.05_ITA patch for the game.

I'll translate the general sense of the message for the non-Italian-readers (and expecially for the Paradox Staff).

In effects, they say that the BIG delay in releasing 1.05 Patch_ITA ins't their fault, but is due to a bug in the game editor, in the 1.05 version *originally released by the Software House*.

I sincerely don't know where the truth is.
What I DO know, is that the 1.05 patch has been released in many countries in Europe and in America, seemingly without such problems. I am currently playing the 1.05_UK and it works perfectly (buying a game in Italian and playing it in English... cute, uh?)
And I DO know that Paradox made a great work doing this game and continues improving and improving, with support and other important things done to improve the service it provides(including this great Forum).
So I know quite well to who I'd like to give my sympathy... ;)

But we Italian players are seemingly caught in the mid of a tennis-match: Paradox vs Leader, who will win?
Certainly not us.
Please let us know something about this absurd situation.

Have you really did it?
Do you mean that the UK patch didn't show messages such as "...unable to find the game...pls install EUII first..." and updated the game correctly? That's amazing!!! I'm gonna try immediately!!!

This appears to be something we have to accept as it is

there was a bug in the US version of the patch, and it got corrected for the later release (US was leaked before time).

I've sent Patric a PM, hopefully he will say something *official* (i.e. not coming from me or UD) as soon as he has a minute :)

Seems a very busy person as no official announcement as been made yet ;)

yes unfortunately, they seem rather busy in finishing HOI :( Maybe he'll get time soon enough... I've already pmed him twice, so he knows about it, he probably just didn't have the time to contact Leader SPA.

BTW I'd be very happy to have the patch even if without the bugged scenario editor, which is not that important to me
But that's just a dream.

I'm sure you'd like to have just the patch, even with a buggy scenario editor, and if I was in your place I would wish the same thing.

Unfortunately, Leader seems to have decided something else, so you'll have to keep bugging them. At one point, they'll either move or they'll lose a customer.

They know they've aleady lost me as a customer, so they don't care anymore :p :p :p

My hope is that they've also the other Italian EU2 players as well, as it should be their reward for the support given so far :D :D :D
