items not in stores

I cannot get items to appear in shops. Before 1.3 I did not have a problem adding items to the shops so they would show up every time. After 1.3 I am lucky to have a med laser show up in the stores. Did some thing change? I searched the forums but I did not find any information.

Yes... they specifically mentioned a complete re-write of the store code.
(I think your search didn't turn anything up only because the forum search function isn't very good.)

It's been confusing a lot of people because the variables previously used by the old system are still there even though they no longer have any effect.

yep apparently you have to edit the stuff into the collection files for it to show up in stores
