....yea...except they didn't say anything about eating children or sacrices...and as far as I know they didn't have the pogroms (sp?) like Christian nations, or even Crusades who laid waste to them on they way to the Holy Land...of course, some Crusaders killed alot of Christians on the way too...

There is a lengthy thread on that around here somewhere, yes. You could look around if you're interrested... But as I said - the final names of the cultures are not public (i.e. was not posted there). :)

I hope that Jews would be in. I had argued for it half year ago. There are still a thread, I think.

Anyway, catholicism didn't establish anti-semetic just to be anti-semetic. Here is several examples, during Black Death, Pope Clement argued for rationality and condemned the perscute of Jews. Pope even tried to help them. Or Bishop of Spielen (sp?) protected Jews from the people in late 11th century. My point is that Cathoicism wasn't total anti-semetic, just dislike of any non-Catholicism. Also, that Catholicism didn't always encourage the perscute but attempt to protect Jews. yes, I do know about the despicable law that require Jews to idenify themselves. However, that rule wasn't always enforced, especially in Poland and Germany where nobles want the business of Jews too much. Where France had more interested in interesting Jews, in order to gain the properities, and wealth of Jews.

Summary, Medeieval wasn't total anti-semetic and kill them every chance. Consider it, if it is as bad as you say, why would many Jews want to live in Europe? Yes, I know that the life is not good at all for Jews.
