Hey Rar...

Sorry to hear that. You can work around this by clicking on the nation itself instead of using the shortcut until we figure out this crashing... Would you mind sharing your hardware, os, and directx versions with us? Thanks!

To report an occurance of a drop to desktop problem.

I was looking at Naples, then right clicked in the Alliances box. I tried selecting The Knights, then the game quit.

Windows 98 SE
DirectX 8
Soundblaster Live! Value
GeForce 2 GTS 64 MB DDR
256 MB RAM
Athlon 900 MHz

Think that's all the important info.

Folks, I have tried to reproduce this 'rightclick-in-diplomacy-menu' crashbug in the German version, but couldn´t! Everyhting´s working fine there. If this is the case, then we have the first instance where versions differ in bugs (except of course, textbugs and the Swedish copyprotection bug).

Hartmann,

Is there anyway we can get the Paradox folk to look at the US version please? Also there are some VERY advanced machines crashing and burning with this... I note one thing, there are many of the more advanced machines with GE Force video cards and/or Windows SE. In my case, neither is true, but then in my case I am often (but not always) successful in NOT crashing with the right click.

Balders,

LOL! Take heart though! I find that the user, in the end, is more important... Doesn't matter what that MPU access speed is if the operator can't THINK!

Ziz,
I think in most cases it doesn't matter what we were doing.
