Ok, well I have been given a history eassy to write over the summer about, well anythiung I like in fact, most of the of the class are doing world war 2 or communism or one way or another. So I have decided to do somehting on South East Asia in the EU period (I am hoping that no else in the country will do something like that, so no competition 
). The eassy itself is going to focus on how Europe dealt with SEA and the rivalries between the European powers but also examine the situation betwen the various states in SEA at the time.
At the same time I thought I might do an EU scenario focusing on Asia, to teach myself how to do it.
So what I need from you guys is a starting point, somehwhere that i can find historical info and maps of the area, any help appriciated
