Greetings.

I have two problems.

First, see screen shot. Ive re- downloaded stellaris and steam multiple times and can't get through that. I read the forums. I have whatever security comes with windows 11, and peerblock. Peerblock was blocking "Paradox Entertainment" so I allowed that forever. The game does start with Stellaris.exe, but does not have any of my saved games. I am hoping that once I get this sorted, my games will be there.

Second, months of saved games stopped loading after 3.6 came out. I had a few mods installed so im assuming there was a conflict somewhere. Any saved game before I installed mods would load, anything after would crash the game. I tried deleting all the mods, and that really screwed things up. Assuming I can get the game to load properly, I am concerned about my saved games.

Thanks for listening.

Ah, that is usually an antivirus app getting in the way. What antivirus app do you use? You need to make sure all these apps are in its exceptions lists:

Stellaris.exe and dowser.exe (in the Steam Stellaris folder)
C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2.2022.14/paradox launcher.exe
C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/bootstrapper-v2.exe

IF that doesn't help, also set each of those .exe files (EXCEPT Stellaris.exe !) to run as the Windows Admin user.

Then the game should run from Steam/our launcher, and enable all the DLCs.

Hi. Just peerblock and whatever comes in windows 11. I checked and Windows says stellaris is good. See pic

I found everything where you said it would be and checked run as administrator for all of them except stellaris.exe.

I actually had to uncheck "run as administrator" for stellaris.exe because I had done that when I was originally trying to get my game going

I just tried and the game loaded from the launcher. BUT, all my save games are gone ...

That screenshot shows the Windows Defender firewall, nothing to do with antivirus settings.

Local save game files are in Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/save games/ , so if you delete that they are gone, yes. Sorry that happened , if so!
