Still playing on 0.9.3 so I apologize if this was already corrected by 0.9.5.

In my current game, the Iron Throne launched a war to reclaim the Independant King of the Reach. At the time, the King on the Iron Throne and the Lord Commander of the Night's watch happened to be half-brothers... As a result, the Lord Commander was asked to join his half-brother's war and agreed, meaning the Night's Watch took part in a War south of the Wall.

Is this WAD? Because if it is, I think there should be a penalty for a Lord Commander who doesn't respect the neutrality of the Night's Watch.

There is no way to stop the Lord Commander being able to join allies in a war, it is hardcoded. A player controlling the LC is penalised for answering calls to arms. The AI is not however, it would be unfair as they dont know it is not allowed.
