Low Countries missing trigger

Playing German

I'm getting all the triggers up to the Invasion of the Danes and Norway.

After this I'm getting no trigger for the Low countries.

There is the SS trigger about who I include or exclude from the SS ranks, could not picking the right one here stop the triggers?

For declaring war on the low countries you mean? I'm not sure there are any...

In vanilla, you DoW them manually. The AI will do it automatically.

Sorry I wasn't more clear.

After I take Norway I guess I thought there was an event trigger in May of 1940 for Belgium and or Netherlands along with luxembourg.

I wonder because after taking France I got no event for Italy to join the axis and no events for any of the balkan states. The only triggers i did recieve were for Vichy France and the continuation of the 4 year plans for Oil and Rubber plants. I played up until November of 1942 with no further historic events.

There is no such trigger. Nor is there an event for Italy to join the Axis. You must do these things through your own diplomacy. Same for Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria (as well as Nationalist Spain and Finland).

The other things - Norway, Poland, etc, are there to get you going. Once gone you have to fend for yourself and make your own decisions on where to go.

btw, speaking of events, will there be any event(s) dealing with a possible Spanish-German alliance? And anything regarding Antonescu, the Iron Guard and german support of. (seem to recall something like that i old CORE).

OK thanks for the prompt response.

I like to play through all the event triggers in a mod and I wasn't sure how far they went.

BTW really enjoying the mod especially the R&D aspects, the way you did the Industrial techs even moreso.

i think it is good not to get too many triggers for invasions... couz i don't think it would not be really funny to just see the game doing all by itself via event...
