The 1.091 patch for my MAC Steam version of CK2 seems to have fixed the major problems I was having. I was able to play for a couple hours this afternoon without a problem. No freezing. F***YEA! :)

Thanks guys, I can finally enjoy this great game the way it was supposed to be.
 
Agreed about 1.091 being awesome. I upgraded from 1.08 to 1.091, and now I've played for hours with no crashes or freezes. I also set my sleep time on my computer to "Never", but I don't know if that had any effect. Thanks Paradox!
 
Yes, of course I'd also like to thank Paradox! There's literally no other gaming company that provides this level of support. This is why I keep buying your games!

I just installed CK 2 with all the addons and DLCs except TOG (won't buy it before they fix the massive historical inaccuracy in the eastern Baltic). I have one problem, though. All the windows that open on the lefthand side of the screen, the bottom portion of them doesn't fit on my screen... and I can't see a portion of the bottom because of it, it just continues past my screen somehow.
