Why did you unbalanced the game making the Machine Parts Factory consuming 50 power?! With upgrade it asks for 70 power which is insane!
I need to have 2.5 power accumulators just to support it at night and 10 solar panels during the day. The maintenance in the long run for all those buildings and the space they take makes it USELESS to have MPF in the first place except if it works 24/7 and producing like 30-40 machine parts per day to make it useful...
I couldn't find anything mentioning this change in the patch notes as well and the people on Steam blame me for it...
 
That's a heavy exaggeration. Unless you're running primarily on wind turbines for power, you don't even really need an MPF until your colony is big enough that 70 power is not a large problem. If you are using loads of wind turbines... it's still not a huge issue. Even with non-upgraded turbines at 0% elevation boost, it's a maximum of 14 turbines needed to support an MPF, for ~1.4 machine parts/sol (a small fraction of the MPF's output)... and between polymer blades and elevation boosts, you can make the required wind turbine maintenance a tiny, tiny fraction of your output.

Incidentally, the small MPF recently introduced really helps with small machine parts requirements, especially for colonies which aren't reliant on turbines for power.

Also, use atomic accumulators ASAP. They're better in just about every way to regular power accumulators.
