Yes, I'm having two issues (since long time) with the game.

1.- Map looks like gridded, only when I'm playing with the original one, no with mods.

2.- Every time I start a new game and resign I am not able to play 'Multiplayer' because "Game State is corrupted. Please restart the game".

Well I never play multiplayer and prefer to use mods for the map and font so is not a 'big' problem, but if someone knows how to fix these issues would be nice. Thanks for the help.

I'm attaching a screenshot to illustrate this better.

2 is normal and by design, and has been implemented for some years now. The purpose is to ensure you exit and restart the game, which helps stability by clearing game memory and all MP connections.

1 looks like a video issue, maybe driver. DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach your Documents/Paradox/CK2/settings.txt.
From your Documents/Paradox/CK2/logs/ folder, attach system.log .

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I'm running the game on a Mac so I can't collect that information if there is not an alternative program or way to do it.

On Mac/Linux: in Steam please click on Steam-Help-System Info, and paste everything there into a text file and attach that here.

Well, the game is not supported on Intel video systems on any OS. But yours is a reasonably good one as Intels go, I'm surprised it has this problem.

Your Mac desktop is at 1440 x 900 so best to change settings.txt to be the same. I hope that does it for you!

Change the resolution didn't fix it. I don't get how a game like this (or any Paradox game) which are very popular doesn't have support for Intel graphics or other systems... even more knowing that all MacBooks uses Intel. It happens with HoI4 too but it's less visible. As this only happens with wastelands I found it works disabling "Transparent Wastelands". Just last question... would be Imperator: Rome compatible with Intel graphics or where I can know that? I think is a relevant factor in order to buy the game. Thank you anyway for answering.

Intel video systems are weak and slow compared to the dedicated GPUs in nVidia and AMD video cards. They have little or no dedicated video memory, and no dedicated GPU - they use the CPU instead. They are unsupported in our games on any OS, not just on Macs, for this reason.

I doubt it very much. Even EU3 was not.

Anyway glad you found a workaround!
