Oh I won't buy it again, don't worry. Is this a widespread issue?
The same happened on the Utopia update, not only have I wasted half of my day off work but now I have to wait for them to fix this, so guess I won’t be playing Stellaris today.
I wouldn’t mind if it was a one off but it’s not, you would think by the 3rd expansion they would have this locked down as it’s kinda embarrassing really.

I don't know if during Utopia it was on Microsoft's end, but this time it was

This is a console port of a PC game and the consoles have technical limitations thus there is never a 100% guarantee it will work as intended

There is also a difference this time around...the difference being the new consoles

granted Sony didn't seem to have the issue Microsoft did...so it is hard to say if that was the cause

The consoles do of course have limited tech compared to the PC however this doesn't seem to be one of those limitations. It's hard to believe that technical limitations are the cause for a product charging people twice. I'd be more inclined to believe that this was simply an oversight in a few lines of code from either Paradox or Microsoft rather than a console limitation

Simply put, I've purchased Expansion Pass 3 and Megacorp won't install. I'vetried restarting but it still wants £15 to play
the way I fixed it is by going to the games and ad ons section of stellaris (if on xbox) and installing it there
