Menu buttons hidden by loading advices

As the title says, each time I start the game the box containing advices from the loading screen always hides the main menu buttons. I can see it pop up but it goes under the advicesbox which gets the focus from the mouse, so it is not possible to click the hidden buttons. However, by alt-tabbing and restoring the game to full screen that box goes away and I can interact with the menu. It is a minor annoyance but fixing it couldn't hurt..

I have the exact same problem, but running in windowed mode seemed to fix it for me

I don't quite follow. Are you saying that the hints displayed during loading are still visible once the game has finished loading? Can we see a screenshot please? What version and checksum show on the main game menu?

The screenshot is 1.03 with Mods, but the problem exists whether 1.02 or 1.03b, with and without mods.

Yep that's the same thing that happens to me. As you can see the main menu can barely be seen behind the hint message graphics.
By alt-tabbing to the desktop and then back in, the screen is re-rendered and the hints go away. If it is any help in my case I have a stereoscopic monitor (120hz) with a nVidia GTX 570 with the latest drivers.

I can only imagine this is a driver issue. Can everyone seeing this please post a dxdiag.txt .
