Hey folks!
Is there a way to create a message to the player, through an event I would think, that fires when an AI character has an event occur?
Maybe not super clear, so let me use an example:
King of France dies of illness and his heir succeeds to the throne. A message is generated that tells me that the King of France died of illness.
If it is through an event that this fires, it would also then be possible to have a list of possible reactions. So, for the above example:
Send a delegate to honor the new King of France: +5 Relations, -5 Gold
Honor the new King of France in person: +25 Relations, -25 Gold
Do Nothing: 50% chance nothing happens, 50% chance -10 Relations
A different event as the above might occur based on your highest title (a foreign counts would have different expectations from the King of France than would one of his own dukes, or the Holy Roman Emperor, for example).
Just some thoughts I was having and thought I'd put it out there.
Thanks!
