...So after some fiddling around with the save file, I managed to turn the leader of Pentos into a Targaryen dragon rider - the lost child of Dany - who then proceeded to smash Westeros back into place, slay all those blasted pretenders and claim his rightful throne back ;)

Also, wouldn't it be cool if there was the ability to declare more 'usurper wars'? Say, if a king was being particularly tyrannical and just generally a real bastard to his subjects, you could trigger an intrigue event to conspire with other lords to usurp the king's throne and exile/execute his family. This could also include the ability to elect someone to take the throne should an eventual war be won by the rebellion.

The Freys have certainly risen high

If there is a king beyond the Wall, you can declare a Great Ranging to destroy the Wildling realm.
Not king. Any high lordship will suffice.

... though, I'd say, the best fun you'd have with Night Watch is 8000 start. You have son - Black Brother of your dynasty, which will probably inherit Watch, if you help him. Afterwards, just bum enough Silent Sisters discretly as to have Hoare kids - and when they'll grow up, banish them to the Wall! (and preferably, try to stay dynastic) Ah, and raid Westeros. Ironborn perks - which come in pack with ability to have salt wives! (though I believe salt wives works only on Westeros, not Wildlings)

It's unfortunate that the series has killed any liking I could've ever had for the Freys, but I suppose Olyvar isn't bad. XD Weird that I can't stand the Freys, yet the Boltons are one of my favourite families of all.

Well... I think that's because Roose Bolton is somewhat of a role model for us, CK II players ;) Seriously – can't even count how many dynasties I killed (assassinating six years old kid after his elder brothers...) to make right person inherits. And hell, if I could kill them all in one sweep... <drools over the thought of Red Wedding>

(besides, Boltons are awesome; and have leeches; and stuff)

Haha indeed! And a rival family butchering would indeed be SO amazing, and let's not forget forcing a lowborn to pose as a surviving member to wed and gain a 'legitimate' claim ;)

... and BTW to Frey's - would have to check when they are mostly at the same court for the times when Essos comes. I WON'T let this mass of slaves go, I'll sell every single Frey, EVERY SINGLE FREY! <Happyface, as I try to think how much worth will Frey have on slave market>

(I am REALLY curious how much the 'Imprison entire family' -> enslavement of prisoners of war would generate for them and Craster's family.)

Aww, how depressing that, even if you win as Rhaegar against Robert, Lyanna still dies :(

Pretty bleak alternative timeline either way. Eddard and Robert dead with Stannis blinded and Benjen lording over the North with no-one but ghosts to keep him company, and the Mad King continues his reign...

On the other hand, if Lyanna lives, she inevitably leads a revolt and usurps her brothers' realm.

Gotta say, this mod has killed my sympathy for her; clearly her death was for the greater good.

AAR of your MP game?

The one we are in now is sort of a crash course in CKII for a couple of guys.

We are planning to start a new one fairly soon with each person playing as a character of their own creation but with each of us in a different one of the major dynasties. The plan is to work our way up to the head of the family and King/Queen in our region, before then pushing on against each other to take the iron throne. I guess we could do an AAR of it. :)

Not really. There are different outcomes:
- Lyanna dies;
- Lyanna live, kid dies;
- Lyanna and kid live;

In 2nd and 3rd outcome you can either:
- send her back to Winterfell;
- don't remember good - but break with her / to the dungeons?, as she's too much trouble.
- let her stay as your lover in the court;
- divorce Ellia and let her became your queen!

I choose last event choice - and was kind of happy. My children, even before Rhaegar's death, made it to become LPs of Dorne and North. Oh, and the second kid, son, became this unhappy Prince of Dragonstone, waiting for Chosen of Rhollor, Dragon-Riding Rhaegar to die ;), so his sister-wife of Dorne wouldn't really overshine him.

Whaaaaaaaat O_O I didn't realise it had more than one outcome! Awesome! I guess I'll have to reload and reload then :p

Aaaargh. My god, in early versions Robert's Rebellion used to be really hard for the rebels(but winnable), now it's super easy for them and I can't win as the Loyalists. Main problem is, the rebels get ridiculously high warscore from sieging worthless provinces in the Crownlands. Robert's army can be crushed super easy if you combine your forces up with Mace, but Eddard, Jon, and Hoster combine up into a 40k doomstack and murder you horribly. Shouldn't Robert's war end if he dies? I don't imagine Stannis would be fighting after Robert died.

My problem with Rhaegar in Robert's Rebellion is just that you can't reasonably do anything. It's your meager stacks - and the rest in the hands of AI!

Problem with playing as Aegon is that Mace AI appearantly acts foolish when I am the one in the command. Though, to its credit, Mace in books weren't competent either...

And well, I can win it - by the value of eventual attrition, etc. Even better if Aerys dies and is succedeed by Rhaegar. But it feels like Robert's Rebellion was ridiculously easy for rebels - while it was certainly not so. Part of the problem is that I am forced to capitulate at 100% warscore - while after losing some provinces in Crownlands, I am feeling as I ma losing, while I certainly don't feel defeated. But it's the same in vanilla - really, I consider bumrushing holding too good a tactic in some cases, like when AI is fighting war on the opposite verge of its holdings.
