I would restore all castle of the Nightwatch. Unfortunately i can´t give the castle to a men of the Nightwatch. Options?
Right click the holding and select Create New Vassal.

I've also managed to win as Rhaegar just now, I bumped off Aerys with a knife, and the levy bonus from high martial on Rhaegar gave me enough troops to smash all the rebels. Those Tower of Joy events are pretty sad.

A little thing that I would like to suggest; when you have a capital with wildfire, don't rely on the random events to offer to send it up; use a "Send for Wildfire" decision, which then pops up the "Long as you need, hurry it up, one week, nevermind" thing. With one exception, I've managed to get the event only when I'm in the middle of actually assaulting a castle, which means there is no point to it. Side note; the one time I got it while just sieging, not assaulting, it was on a 950ish man garrison vs a 20000 man army, and essentially worthless.

Otherwise, Wildfire is really just guesswork for if its worth it.

Also, I have no idea if that would have any effect, but I tried it both with and without leading the army in question, as well as a couple times just staying home. Its still too hit and miss to be a worthwhile investment.

Yeah. But it's sadly unpredictable - hell, last game bumping off Aerys didn't work nearly fast enough.

Anyway, just started game as Robert. Started by attacking this 2,5k at Griffin Roost... and goodbye, my dear Robert, you died in first battle! Now, let's see how Stannis will fare as pretender to the Iron Throne... 8)

When I play as Rhaegar I always try to be as honourable as possible. No assassinations, fighting all the duels... Suffice to say I get killed or lose the War of the Usurper every time due to honour.
True to the spirit of ASOIAF.

Ehee, Tywin must have discovered chemical warfare. Robb, Jon, and Cat all died of pneumonia within a month of each other. As Roose Bolton, I had Bran as my ward, so suddenly he was King of the North...and capitulated to Stannis like a little bitch. My children by Margaery Tyrell were much better.

I also started as Roose for the AFFC scenario. I didn't see the Frey backup until after I'd divorced Walda and married Meera Reed. But holy crap, those Crannogmen! They kicked ass. Stannis was caught in a two-front war and I was outnumbered so I just kept him on a wild goose chase through the North until he got whittled down. Why does Stannis take the Black? For RP purposes I guess he had a breakdown, but I was chasing his 25-man army and suddenly the war was over.

Does Arya ever resurface if you're NOT playing as a Stark?

Can anyone please help me with this one? I started with 'War of Conquest' Setting as High-Lord of Kingswood. Custom Character.
I just can't create the Crownlands.

It's impossible to create. Frankly, Crownlands are LP only because game demands that every province belong to some Kingdom.
They are creatable, I've done it. The only way to form the Crownlands is for the Iron Throne title to be dissolved.

I can confirm that - I formed the Crownlands as the King of the Rock and handed it to a vassal to make it easier to manage. I didn't experience any problems other than the usual politicking you'd expect from having a LP as a vassal.

Oh man, that's exciting. So many campaign ideas...

Also, I was going to ask... What are people's religious preferences as far as benefits/perks/events and the like? I figure R'hllor is simply the bomb for its ability to heal and protect yourself and others from battle and plots, but I wonder about the opinion of others :)

EDIT: So I ended up forming the Crownlands independently... but is there a way to transform it into a kingdom and not just a lord paramountcy?

Just downloaded the mod and installed, just wondering if theres a list of some of the mechanics to look over before I play, like what difference the religions make or the cultures.

To the first, R'hollor is nice, but a pain in the butt to get over the infidel malus. Peaceful conversion takes AGES. I just stick with either Faith or Old Gods, depending on what I start with.

To the second, no. The Iron Throne is technically the "kingdom" level of that.

Aye, I prefer Old Gods personally. That, combined with Northman culture, just resonates with me, particularly with the whole execution procedure. Feels so right in an interesting way. XD

Blast, but oh well, this kinda happened instead...

Blackstark... mod?

I hate that crown you wear for the Iron Throne if you aren't a Northman, Ironborn, or High Valyrian. It just feels so weird, and it looks awful.

Cadet branch available for bastards ;)

The Northman crown is without doubt the coolest, but I do agree. I suppose the other ones just look more like the actual crowns in vanilla, which are a bore when you compare it to the magic of Westeros :p
