Uh.

Seriously, Westeros would be a better place in many ways if someone sent Stannis to Kingsguard. Or Night's Watch for the same reason. Or nominated him as preferred High Septon ;)

Oh c'mon, Stannis is awesome. He's that kind of vassal you have to admire for still rebelling after you blinded, castrated, and revoked him a thousand times. He'd press his claim even if the one sitting the Iron Throne were the lovechild of the king of the Others and Alysanne Mormont.

Never, ever change the landed_titles files without changing all references- flags, decisions, events etc. If you want to change the name of a title, look it up in the localisation and then change that. Or in landed_titles, add something like "german = "ASDF"" which means german characters get a different name for the title. That won't work for this of course, but it's an example.

Thanks so much, that worked perfectly!

Pretty much fits Stannis-by-books! Though my favourite claim-presser were Cersei in AFFC, which put forth her claim to Iron Throne after Tommen died and Myrcella inherited.

How does Cersei even get a claim to the Iron Throne? Willpower? Does no one dare tell her otherwise? Does she truly shit iron?
I don't know! I think her kids were declared bastards somewhere in progress - so she may inherit claim from Tommen as second in the line of succession... Or whatever. Or fabricated - just because no one dared to inform her this venture is ridiculous!

By the way, during the first two scenarios, does anyone else happen to notice Torrhen's hair appearing and disappearing? Like, sometimes I start a campaign and he has no hair, but every so often he has long, brown/auburn hair. For the first time today, he had long, BLACK hair. Weird :p

So I played a little bit as Celtigar from the first start date. Aegon is not doing anything at all, despite being a lustful hedonist my character is not getting any children born, I managed after 10 years to get a claim and took over a county in crabclaw point only to lose it within a year when an obnoxious nephew who's married to my daughter, my imbecile heir, demanded it because the only options were that or sending him to the wall. I keep marrying young lustful courtiers trying to get sons but they just give daughters or never get pregnant, my sister/wife keeps killing in events sons i dont have, ive got like 5 stillborn bastards because everytime the stupid courtiers drink moontea. I've converted my two provinces to valyrian but I don't know if I should just not bother and try to convert to the seven.

Did no one tell you the Kings in the North were fancy as hell? Torrhen dyes his hair another colour every seven days.

If you want conquest, try Aegon's Conquest. Seven Kingdoms is pretty much the scenario where Aegon doesn't do anything.

Well what's actually different in that scenario? From just looking in the character selection screen it seems it's just that Aegon now has a king title. I kinda didn't want to play that scenario though because I'm not into the conquering the world thing plus would I really even benefit much from it just being Aegon's vassal? I mean in the story itself none of Aegon's vassals got any more powerful, they just kept their little islands.

Differences are:
- de jure Crownlands exists;
- invasion events - like e.g. starting event forcing Aegon's into conquest; and ones pushing him forward afterwards.
- also - events to convert, found King's Landing, etc;

Also, this Kings title is a huge changer - as I think Megawar is almost unique to the Kingdom of Iron Throne.

And well - I don't know. But that was regarding 'nothing much happens' ;P

Has anyone managed to marry Dany in the AFFC bookmark with the latest patch? The last time I played as Aegon a couple of patches ago I managed to marry her really early on and get her leading my armies so she could roflstomp with her dragons. I just started a game as Jon Snow, and no matter what I can't get her to marry. I even waited until all the wars had settled down (I reclaimed the North), but the send proposal button is always greyed out with no tooltip giving a reason for it. I tried again with Aegon, and again the button is always greyed out, even after I won the Iron Throne. It seems like it is tied to the fact that she is Queen of Meereen, as she can marry just fine if you console cheat the title away from her (she doesn't have the widowed trait at this point). From what I can tell there isn't an event letting her marry either, so I'm not sure if this is WAD.
