if you do end up marrying her she can give 1 of her dragons to her husband and 1 to her children if she deems you worthy
I am still curious how are they going to introduce her in Essos. I don't like her - and I that only makes me more concerned about the possibility of Dragon Conquests all over the Westeros & Essos

Well to be fair, by the time she actually has..real power in that sense is later when things go rather badly for her anyways. I mean, currently her dragons are still young, so she wouldnt be able to instantly tame them and ride them into battle, or rather by the time she is actually a ruler she doesnt really have any dragons left at the time. On another note, i find it a bit funny that you dislike her because i got into Game of Thrones by pure accident and stumbling over a Daenerys vid on youtube, which also kinda made me a targaryen fan as well >_>

Yup... I get the same feeling. The Targs are cool, but I never liked Daenerys, and the ADWD chapters have done nothing to better that. What I'm fearing is that people begin to whiteknight her (as odd as it would be to whiteknight a fictional character) due to the TV series uplifting her character while leaving other characters that are actually more complex to sink (Stannis).
And there's far more likeable and strong female characters on ASOIAF (Arya is the first that comes to mind) than Daenerys. To quote from the book, people just like her because she's Aegon the Conqueror with tits.

Disdain i have for Cercei..so i guess its a thing..you are contractually obligated to hate any woman from Game of Thrones or you aint a fan! xD

But on the other bit, well iirc she only gets "wild" dragons either during or shortly after AFFC, and only gets a "tamed" one during ADwD, and thats only one, the other two iirc are still wild and untamed. So again she cant supply dragons yet and she actually doesnt have a army to spare either. So basicly, story-wise its balanced, whether that translates well into the mod is another thing entirely.

I am of the same opinion as some of you folks. I'm not partial to Daenerys or her storyline either. Velg, may I inquire you to discuss your reasons for disliking her?
As bad as her story is, she will win. Or maybe get assassinated on Littlefinger's orders. But then what of her dragons? Who's assassinating those fuckers?
Well, my problem is that I never really got behind „Aegon with teats” line. I mean... she never felt even comparable to the Conqueror. Bah! - even her achievements didn't feel like her. I mean... when I read it, I always felt like she is destined to accomplish everything by the power of benevolent storyline. Hell, in some moments I was sure that even Hodor would accomplish everything Daenerys ever did if he got such amounts of preferential treatment!
Weren't Daenerys advertised as Aegon the Conqueror with teats, I could probably like her. But I never thought that she's even close – she never give me any reason to judge her high. (praises and loyalty of other characters don't count – seriously, my career in pen-and-paper RPG convinced me that anyone can write that everyone holds character X in high regard)
Who could do this better than Samwell Tarly the Slayer? - we all know that maesters can plot to kill dragons!
So long as the Maesters don't start mass producing err... "Robert Strongs" armed with obsidian weaponry, they're very far from that.

I remember reading something like this... (and frankly, I think that Samwell the Dragon-Slayer would be the most ridiculous thing on this earth. And I'd be very curious of Randall Tarly's face afterwards)
The only reason I ever read through any of Dany's ADWD chapters is because of Strong Belwas. Speaking of Belwas, in my game he is the king of Qarth. Somehow.
Problem is that while I don't feel much sympathy for Cersei, I still consider her 'good' character. I mean... she is a bitch - but a very well written bitch nonetheless. While, as for Daenerys, I don't perceive her as well-written character.
Daenerys is an awful character, and what happens to her is also completely unrealistic and out of tune with the rest of the saga. She should have been murdered long ago.
Question for the masses. I was playing a while time ago as a Targ and Aurane Waters/Velaryon was given a cadet dynasty. It was also a House Velaryon but it had a different COA. How would I would I go about making that happen again? I tried putting the same dynasty ID number in the save file but it made him lowborn.
Dany is a horrible character, annoying as shit in every way, if it wasn't for the dragons and the east I'd hate her chapters. And even the east seems so unrealistic, comes off just like a typical empty fantasy land where you get stereotypical lands just empty other than some kind of barbarian horde.
What is with all the Dany hate here? oO
Sure, she isn´t the most well written character in the series, but she has atleast a slow character development and imo we are far away from the end of it. She will not end up as the same naive, trusting and kind person we know from the first books.
Yes, some of her chapters are rather exhausting to read, but that is the case of most characters and yeah, in my personal list, I rank her higher then Aryao
About Cersei, despite the fact, that I dont like her that much, atleast I can understand why she did most of the things she did. Cersei ist just a great and well written character.

You need a bastard which has the genius or strong trait, while not beeing an imbecile spawn of incest or something like that, to form a cadet branch. There are some other points you need to fullfill, like a certain amount of prestige and stuff like this, but nothing major.
All the requiements should be pretty easily to find in the "event" folder, but I´am not at my PC for the moment.
