Simply beautiful.
Thanks for your good job!

Thanks everyone!

For those asking for permission to use in their mods: Yes, you can use. include my name in the credits and etc.
For the people waiting for the byzantine and Turkish buildings: Wait a little more :p

I'd also like to announce a compatibility version to use with Better looking characters (6a):
CulturalCitiesBLC6acompatible.zip
Use it with BLC activated. DON'T activate any other CulturalCities version, just this one.
Currently only "A version" is supported. once I can make the persians and croatians use their correct buildings, I'll make a "B version".

Sorry for not replying before. I was playing other games and was making some (small) university work.

Now fully compatible with BLC 6b. Check the first post.
Also includes A and B version now. Persians and Croatians are now as they should be.

First of all - great work. Congrats!

The question - is there any way to change icons representing castles, churches and cities in game? As of now, there are only two options - western european and generic middle east... Which is not the case of Rus, or poland, or byzantines, etc...

I love your work! I can't play without it. :) I think the BLC compatible mod you made is compatible with the latest BLC, in anycase I wanted to tell you that next version of BLC might very well be the last ever, baring small tweaks, so if your mod will be compatible with that, it will most likely be in perpetuity... also I think it's already 100% compatible with the current version it should be already - given I don't think I will change anything that would conflict with it.

What do you think ;)
pretty CK2-ish!
Though for some reason the image in the building construction menu is still the western one. I need to take a look at that.

@Shaytana
Well, As I said, your mod is essential too :p
I used the 8c version to test compatibility, and I think it is compatible. didn't test it throughly, though.

Yes, they appear at the "province" menu, where you can see the holdings, etc. But for some reason they don't appear in the construction menu (where you can see the holding in the top left). If anyone knows why, Please tell me. I've only modified Province.gfx. perhaps it's in another file.

Great stuff man, great stuff.....

This mod is superb and is everything I needed for the extra immersion bit :) No more ugly dark stone cities for the towns of Italy or Greece.

However, while using the latest patch, Ive only got the new western GFXs that also cover Spain and Italy, Eastern ones covering Byzantium, and a kind of pan-islamic one from Morocco to Persia. However everything seems to be all right in the files with the latest version and all different sets. Anybody can point me to a solution?
