Hi all !
I've made a new mod for DD and Arma several weeks ago and we are now at 0.4 version, 0.41 will be out soon. It changes AI, events, combats, graphics, musics and a lot of other things. The goal is to improve realism and challenge.
We are looking for guys who could help us : events ideas, beta test, graphist or whatever.
So if you are interested, just tell me.

Changelog :

- New AI for many countries : USA, ENG, FRA, ITA, GER, SOV, CHI, JAP, AUS, FIN, ROM, CAN, NZ, SAF, NOR, DEN, POL, YOU, TUR, BEL, SPR, SPA, HUN, GRE etc etc
You'll see DDays, Sealion, unbeatable SOV AI etc etc
- New surrender events for all major : jap, ita, ger, sov, usa, eng and fra
- Tons of new historical events (something like 2000) : lend lease, fall gelb/weiss/barbarossa/weserübung/blau/typhon, torch/attila, SCW, china-jap war, balkans campain, Pearl Harbor, US gear up, Hendaya/Montoire meetings, Mers-el-Kebir, Churchill speeches, officier purges etc etc
- new interface, new skins, new counters, flags, load screens, map etc etc
- spy modifications (counter spying is more difficult)
- OOB modifications
- new combat system : more longer and more realistic : if you are not able to win your battles quickly, you'll face a trenchees war.
- mp/ic costs and caracteristics modifications for all units
- unitnames modifications
- provinces modifications
- news and great battles events (for example "fall of warsaw")
- Japan and Germany can now ally by events after PH (then, peace between sov and jap event)
- Retire of old guard events
- Europe end of war and beginning of cold one events : partition of Europe, Potsdam/Yalta, destructions, Marshall/Molotov plans, Fulton's speech, deutsch and ost mark creations, berlin's blocus, two germany independances, Prague's coup etc etc
- Poland will no longer be part of the Allies, so USSR can dow them by events and invade east poland. Allies can dow Germany a few days after poland invasion by event
- New units : Rangers, SAS, kamikaze, Volksturm, Dora/ANzio Annie, logistical brigades, reco airplanes (all by events only)
- New FFL units
- Militias are now kind of reserve divisions
- End of colonization and arab-isreali war events
- modification of "assassination of Hitler" event
- changes for modifiers.csv
- New defense policy system desactivable by event : the player must now choose each 3 years his priority about formation (tank crews, sailors or airmen) so his limits production changes
- new sounds and musics

etc etc I maybe forgot tons of changes but they are too many to be writen :) .

No, no, it is 36-53, with several scenarios. We've modded a lot the 36 scenario with AI improvements (sealion, barbarossa, fall gelb/weiss/blau, dday, husky, uranus/mars etc), thousands events (something like 2000) to give a more historical feeling, some ahistorical choices and to enhance the vanilla (for example, we have reworked all surrenders events), new units type etc etc. The tech tree is not (yet ?) changed. We began to mod the 45 scenario but it is not finished (we'll have 2 great campaign : 36-53 and 45-53).
If you want another information or screenshots just ask me :).

This is a project scenario (the second scenario which i was talking about).
It will begin on 45 with the historical situation (no war). We've made several events as Fulton's speech, Marshall/Molotov plans, Berlin's crisis, Ost and Deutsch mark creations, independances for the two germany etc etc.

But it is not finished, we first want to finish the 36 campain before developing the 45's one.

Did i see correctly you have a "special" 38´ multiplayer scenario ?!
What´s the difference compared to the normal 38´ scenario?

It is not mine. It is made by generalfeldmarschall or duke1987, i don't remember (credited) and it makes the game more balanced for mp games.

Oh and enjoy the mod if you play it ;)
 
Looks solid, how much is the AI improved? (I am learning to mod AI's so I wonder if this is a solid template to check out or not)

Look : there is only one guy who played it in vhard with germany and he told me that he "resisted till 1943" :rofl: . The USA tryed to land in Dunkirk, Le Havre, Murmansk, Salonik etc :D while the Soviets counter attacked and incircled several divisions.

ahh so you made it in France so 90% of the ppl that play Hoi2 cant play it like mod33
 
if you want your mod to get played by more then only French ppl you should make it in English

Ehh you can start with changing something else like BORDERS OF POLAND - for some reason not a single mod has it done correctly - I mean soviet puppet Poland afer 1945 which should have this bloody Bielsk, Bialystok and Suwalki as opposed to no-Tehran/non-Soviet Poland without major changes compared to pre-war Poland ( Elbig, Oppeln would be added - maybe Breslau and Konigsberg too, but I doubt it). For such a large mod it might be a good thing to deal with such 'details' too...
