That never makes it a good translation, trust me, I tried using that in German class and got only like 20% of it right.

It depends on the software and on the intelligence of the reader. I think poeple in Mod 34 used this method of translation and it works pretty well. I also tested it. Of course, sometimes it produces very strange results, but generally I', able to understand what is the text about.
