Hey Guys

Okay I have been posting up alot of things on my previous thread, but this will be the official one :)

Overview
Basically Union Plus (which is still WIP) is a mod where I wanted most of the best elements available from other mods into one Mod. This will increase Depth of the Game, and just well to me Fun!

The mod itself will effect Species, Traits, Edicts, Policies, Technologies, Buildings, Space Stations etc. So in essence it covers alot of aspects that are moddable in Stellaris.

I have also created my own items in the Mod itself. I have also taken over 90+ Mods Tweaked, Re-balanced and made it compatible with each other and the latest version.

Firstly and Most Important
If any Author of any of the Mods below wishes for me to remove it from my Mod please let me know. It will be unfortunate but I want to respect the modders decision. I have and will give credit where it is due, and to all people that have helped.

Key Notes:
  1. I did this Mod for myself as I liked most Mods out there but always found that a lot of them where not really compatible.
  2. I will try my best though to keep this mod Updated with the latest version of Stellaris
  3. If there are issues with the Mod and it got nothing to do with My Mod or instead it got to do with a Glitch or issues with Images etc (as I cannot create my own graphics to save my life) this is something I am not capable of fixing.
  4. Language I can only speak, write, read English. However I am open to people who can provide other languages support.
  5. I will consider any ideas or feedback given including adding other Mods into this.
  6. I am a person who likes including everything and have as many options to the gamer available. To also have as much as possible this is how I built this Mod.
  7. There where Mods or aspects of the Mod that accomplished the same thing, so I took the one that I felt went Better with My Mod or added the Most variety / option / flavor
  8. This Mod will have alot of balancing issues, some can say bias to the Player, but it all about Immersion and Fun as well as Freedom to do whatever you wish in the game, this includes having races from multiple Universes :p

I'm all for a modpack that integrates the best of what the community has to offer, but I'd prefer a version without "lore enhancements" from existing universes (Star Wars, Star Trek, Mass Effect...). Something akin to a Vanilla + would be preferable imho, but that's just my taste.

Then it's up to you what you would like to offer, in terms of depth, scale, and especially balance.

The only thing that is included from other Universes is System Starting Maps and Species, any other aspect is not included, however I did include one of the Star Trek Events or Anomalies mod as it did not effect the Lore,

Regarding the graphical enhancing mods I do not mind including them I think some I did already.

If you want to integrate my mod, you will need to set the conditions for other buildings from other mods
You probably know this, just in case.

Thanks for the heads up, have not even looked at your Mod yet to see major differences but yeah, will keep that as reference when I start on it,
I am first integrating the easiest items, then will move over to the more complex items. At the same time for some of them checking if they compatible with 1.10 and making it compatible.

Just quick update getting there slowly already got half of the items integrated and working with 1.10 will update the progress a bit later :)

This covers all the Traits, Edicts, Technologies, Planets, I will be now working on the Ships, Wargoals, Components and Space Stations additions, last I will bring in several species / races and few other things that I left out.

Darn, that's a lot of mods. Combining all of them must be close to a full time job especially if you keep them up to date.
lol its hectic, but I think im only going to update them if it needs updating or if there are significant changes as the core of the Mods are good, initially it will be work (but doing it for myself so yeah) but once done will only update as Stellaris updates
 
Hey guys just an update, I have reworked alot of the Government types (it was an actual task though, was also researching on actual government types, and made them Plausible. Had to do alot of double checking to see if it effected any Events or similar Mods,

Also integrated the 2 Armies mods :D Took aspects from both that seemed to work well, also thanks to both of them for showing me how to Factor importance of certain army types albeit by just looking at their code.

Created a few new techs as well, also modified the Empire Trading Mod so that the AI does not go into a continuous loop (however alot of testing needs to be seen for this). And removed a certain buildings / upgrades so it is not over powered. However I do like the concept :)

Also updated my Mod with the latest changes of Novel War Goals plus the new events available from More Events :)

I will be releasing the mod very soon, as the balance that is left over will go much faster now.
 
Wow, that seems like a hercules task. Thumbs up for your hard work. I saw most of the mods on steam, but I disregarded most of them for compatibility. Only one mod I miss in your thought process. Crystallis Ship Module Expansion, which is a mod I don´t want to miss anymore after playing with it.

That is an interesting mod, il include it, or maybe parts of it especially if in some form there are similar things, but I like the AI Crews, thanks for that

Got few more things to do just wrapping up the species and last will include a few custom starting systems, and ensure atleast locasilzations files are there for the main languages however it may be all in english but atleast it wont show for example building_assembly_1 , it wont take to long to do, the bulk and most complex stuff is basically done.

O yes one more thing if anyone wants me or think I could be missing a good Mod let me know:)
 
How is the fleet combat / ship class battle balance and visuals? Are they vanilla, or did I miss something?
I mean something like Improved Space Battles or Beautiful Battles.

What I think is greatest addition in ISB is that the different weapons are and feel actually different.^^

Im still deciding which one to put in as Beautiful Battles and Improved Space Battles both seem interesting, the Graphical enhancement / visuals aspects initially I was not going to include it in this mod, but after looking at a few it seems interesting, perhaps Il have it as a separated addition or submod. Also I think I could be overstretching my capabilities lolol but will see what happens
 
Nice, I am sure its not that easy to assure compatibility. BB f.e. is regarded as visual but changes quite some bit on the balance side. FYI, the crystallis mod got an update 2 hours ago, which adds psionic and clone crews under other things. :)

Thanks for letting me know, at the moment been trying to wrap my head around playing with the species animations so far if I use any Human Animation, i get a Human Bush as hair :/
But the Reptilian one however did resolve that, but it cannot keep still so :(
 
Hey guys an update

All integration is COMPLETE!! :D (finally)

Just doing some minor tweaks and adding a few extra things as well conducting testing before release.

There are some I did exclude and the list of Mods integrated there bout 20 or 30 more I did not put there as to be honest I completely forgot the name of it or the author but will eventually go through the list and give credit where it is due

An example of one of the tweaks I have done (now every single mod I did include had similar gameplay changes as well)
  1. I have taken Global Annihilation Mod, Glassing Mod, Exterminatus and Improved Space Battles (Titan Doomsday)
  2. I used the Glassing Mod event system as a Base, and the Global Annihilation wordings and policies.
  3. There are now 8 different actions you can choose when bombarding a Planet and provided certain criteria is met (i.e. Need Doomsday tech to be able to use it) or need to have found a certain discovery ie in Exterminatus to be able to clean out a Planet without being noticed. All come with diplomatic penalties plus a sign of respect for weaker empires which fades away after a short time
  4. I have changed the wording extensively made it more Military like and Protocol like and used wordings like Rules of Engagement
  5. The AI is able to use all of them (however still needs some testing) but to avoid them nuking or glassing every planet CERTAIN criteria has to be met in terms of how much they HATE you and which ethic they are. Mostly Fanatic Militarist, Fanatic Xenophobe, Fanatic Spiritualist, Militarist can use all the actions. Other ethic groups can use it but they must be from only certain personality types . I want to eventually create a way where pacifists if they get the receiving end of one of these events they will get a static modifier that will allow them to use these forms of engagements.
  6. Titan Doomsday is allowed for all ethics though, however again usage is heavily weighted against how much they hate you.
  7. To allow for Hate to grow and for wars to become more Brutal as it continues and intensifies I changed how war opinion goes i.e. the longer the war the more their opinion of you deteriorates which will allow the above to occur, albeit the Base starts are low and I had to change a few other opinion modifiers forcing it to be LAST resort tactic, everything after that just compounds lol
Thanks to NovelWarGoals mod creator who in his mod I saw how to do the above lolol , also added a new Wargoal policy which forces Free Migration and another Wargoal to disable the use of Global Annihilation Protocols. At the same time though I removed Hypocrisy measures in place as in reality you get Countries that have certain policies but ensure that others dont have it

With the additions of the other Mods and the behaviours as well as stats changes I think I made it quite difficult to steam role over your enemies.

At the moment what I am also doing is building a custom System starts which will force alot of the species that are meant to be together together according to Lore. They can be disabled though.

I think a few more days should do until it complete and ready for release :D
