Napoleon is important sure, but what about a modern world where the American Revolution never happened?
Because i enjoy DH to, every of that game is specific for a time period, i wish you luck creating a medieval/ancient mod for DH.
17th century setup in 2017 with modern weapons? If its in either of the games you mentioned, than I play with it right away.
The thing about doing a modern day mod is that it causes nothing but trouble as guy's get opinionated when their expectations for their country are not met, or their country is attacked and defeated etc etc.

As I said, if you want to continue the putin mod, or the mds mod, no-one stopping you. Just be prepared to keep looking over your shoulder for the moderator.

I'm really glad this thread is still somewhat active, thank you for that! 
I more or less regret to inform you that I've had little progress with this mod as exams came around and I have had no time to focus on it.
However, I am still very interested and invested in making a new modern day scenario mod, and I still haven't given up on it.

hello i have been experimenting with making unit icons for units for this mod(for personal use) and i was thinking of sharing them
Certainly any mod will require the modder's opinion at some point. I would ask any modder of any modern scenario to realize that at some point, you become an artist, employing your best guesses based on your input-based perspective.To some degree, I hope you strive for realism. If you capture that, I'll like it. You have to be able to predict several possibilities. It sounds like it requires some imagination.
