Whaaaat! This achievement has been around since 1.0? I did this with an entirely different character as my first ironman character, that shows me for not reading through achievements before starting.

And yeah, I don't care and disagree with the wiki/guide advising not to abuse holy war. ABUSE THE HECK OUT OF HOLY WAR! Whenever fervor is down, just form a new faith/heresy which would start out at high fervor. According to the wiki it still qualifies.

Yeah and i'm going to be defeated by the Mullwadi pox. 32 years left and Mullwadi's resistance is going to make it impossible to get every county.

Got a big postive event and it sped forward at least 5 years. Wooo got all the Very Hard achievements. I got What Nepotism with this because a a bug funnily enough. I've had two Empresses that have had bugged heirs that almost destroyed my game. They were wrong house, first one meant my empire exploded so hard after I imprisoned and executed her because it was just my heir that was wrong house. So 60% of the empire revolted and I suddenly had Dynasty of Many Crowns just pop up. Then it happened again with my winning Empresses' grandmother, almost lost the game because the bug happened again and just yet again her heir was wrong house. She escaped imprisonment at 80% chance luckily her husband died in combat and got hired as a priestess and managed to kill her the second time around.

And this game had a lot of turns, early game the Empire of Sweden controlled 90% of Scandinavia, Ireland, Scotland and Lithuania, then it promptly exploded when Sweden feudalized. Couldn't make the jump and lost the independence war. Then Umyaadids blobbed and ate nearly all of Spain then won two consecutive holy country wars and formed Francia. Then it was downhill from there for them. While the Arabs got a little too greedy, they were super strong but picked the wrong moment, they were about to gut the Byzantines they were crushing them in a Holy Country War for Anatolia then he died and his 12 year old son lost the doomstacks and then the Byzantines repaired and smashed them.

Warmonger is pretty essential, I decided to do it hardmode and picked Pursuit of Power o_O so -10 opinion certainly didn't help lol. Mendicant Preachers is also going to be a must I stuck with Adorcism because I thought it was cool lol but I didn't use it anywhere near enough because the mid game was such ass I never had any gold for it.

Did you hard convert all your vassals though?

EDIT: I'm quite interested in the faith you chose to use, could you cap it and put it up?

Yeah at the end of the game literally every single vassal except three that heresied in the last 2 years of the game were my religion. Took awhile to purge Islam because they require you to make them convert twice since they always convert back it seems.

Ah yes, Taqiya. The joys of religious 'psyche'.

What did your faith look like in the end?

The number of people is ridiculous - not your fault, but the game engine.

Even taking into account the time played, it makes no sense that one dynasty - even with branches - could have over 10k people.

I hope they're able to tone this down a bit, both for performance and realism.
it is a 600 year game, and I've had dynasties a few thousand bigger than that. Its mostly down to the concubinage doctrine, it lets you pop out kids like mad. I had at least 100 landed dynasty members at the end of the game.

Good job!
