Yep. That'll do it. Must have static non-shared IP to host. I don't know of any way to circumvent that one.Originally posted by Prince Eugene
I can establish a connection to MP, but I cannot host it. My ISP is roadrunner.

I am pretty sure that this is part (if not all) of the problem you're having but you may find it hard to test if roadrunner is set up the way that I think they are for their standard user accounts - which seems to be confirmed by what you're saying.Originally posted by Prince Eugene
Well, I looked into static ip's. Roadrunner says that it is the solution if I am having trouble using my computer as any type of servers. Unfortunately, they are way too expensive for me.I am currently revieiwing the possibility that my IP address is changing while I am playing and that is crashing it.
I doubt it, unfortunately, since it really isn't strictly a subnet but actually a dynamic packet routing system that tags packets to the subnet and reponses maps it to . This is on a per request basis and will be invisible to your computer, so I don't think you can address it directly in the EU2 direct internet link since it's tagged dynamically in the packet headers at the ISP level.Originally posted by Prince Eugene
I have my subnet mask pin number and my default gateway number. Do you think I could do anything with them? :-\
