MP version problem?

Hey Guys,

me and my friend are trying to get a multiplayer match going but it says we have different versions of the game. We're both running CK 1.03b and both bought the game on steam, any suggestions?

I see in the known solutions that they suggest a reinstall, any other solutions out there yet?

If you have different checksums, you will never be able to play MP together, for obvious reasons. The right checksum is KUMH, the person with the wrong one must re-install. No, there is no "other" solutions - is re-installing a problem in some way?

yeah, reinstall is a problem. i've reinstalled 4 times and it never comes up with KUMH.... it came up with BOPW twice now.

The OP was saying he didn't want to re-install, not that he did it and it didn't help.

For you, (assuming you have Steam) you need to uninstall again, but this time go into your Steam and MyDocuments folders and manually delete all left-over CK2 files and directories there, and only then reinstall the game in Steam.
