Hey there, my friends and I had an issue playing a 4 player multiplayer game the other night.

Here is the scenario:
Host is in 1 location, player2 is in another location, myself and player3 are at his house.

So, basically the problem is this:
Host and player2 can join.

Either myself or player3 can join. Once one of us is in, the other cannot join the game. I think this is because we have the same IP, and the way the host works it can only have 1 player per IP address.

Now we were able to use Hamachi to play, but it incurs to much lag to be truly useful.

Any ideas on this?

If we had player3 host it and I joined over lan connect and everyone else over IP I think this might work, but I am not sure that is going to work either.

Any ideas? OR is this a forlorn hope and we either have to:
A. do a vpn like hamachi
B. not hang out while playing
C. have either myself or player 3 host it.

Thanks!

remember that at times you dont need the router - ie you can plug into the interent connection directly and then your computer will act as a router and the second comp can connect to you. You should then both be able to get to vnet and join a game.
