Ok. Help me out here. Three friends and myself used to play the previous version just fine. Since the new patch though we did the following.
1. Saw and downloaded the new version.
2. Uninstalled previous version.
3. Removed residual things that uninstaller might not have gotten rid of.
4. installed new version
5. Hosted a Multiplayer game.
6. Picked the Conquest Start Date.
7. Desync the second we unpause. We can't even get past day 1.
8. We tried with different hosts.
9. We downloaded software (we tried Tunngle and Evolve) to give ourselves a VPN and we went 1 year and 1 month and had a desync.
10. We tried again and we disabled ALL DLC Except for the ones that actually add content: Customizer, Character Creator( we did not character create), Legacy of Rome, Old Gods, Rajas, Islam, Sons of Abraham, Aztecs, Republic, Charlemange, Way of Life.
11. Insta Desync.
Before the patch 3 of us could go decades without a desync without a VPN.
After we gave up we played CK2 with a smaller mod, without the VPN and played for 50+ years before we got a desync.
What are we doing wrong?
