Yeah, you can keep WinAmp open in the background.

I tried it. Didn't work. CTD'd.
CTRL+ALT+DEL and get rid of everything but systray and explorer, that helps.
Win98, the volume setting should be alright, also in the game... maybe I have the music files in the wrong folder

As I said in your other thread - reinstall if you have the original CD!
It is beginning to look like you cannot reinstall - otherwise with all your problems it would be the ideal answer. That makes me suspicious.......
