My EUII won't start

I've just bought a new computer, and after installing EUII again with all the updates, including the AGC, the game just simply will not start! I click on the AGC and the EUII shields and nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but that did not work,same thing. Does anybody know how I can fix this?

Well if it has something to do with the AGC you should post this in the AGC forum. Otherwise the Suport forum.

You didn't install AGC and EEP? I don't think that could work.

whoops, sorry, I didn't notice there was a support forum. I don't think this has anything to do with the AGC, as neither sheild will make the game run. Any more ideas?

Did it start with only normal EU2 installed?

Cabral: Try completely uninstalling and then installing EU2 and the 1.05 patch only (no mods at all). Then run the game and let me know if that works. If not, please supply all necessary information as per this sticky and I'll see what I can do to help you out.

rename the AVI folder to AVI_OLD, it might be a conflict between Bink (the video player utility) and your system.
