Summary​

My game fails to load past "initializing game" instant crashes with different crash log reasons each time. (GAME PASS VERSION)

Description​

After trying to play with More Bookmarks+ Mod i encountered my first save file corruption, the save file didnt load but others did. I made a new save file thinking nothing of it, now nothing works. I tried disabling and then deleting the mod, I have tried to reinstall (x2), I have deleted everything paradox, and CK3 wise. The crashing persists.

I dont have a save file anymore since i thought a FRESH install (deleting everything CK3 Related). I'm stuck in a limbo of not being able to start.

(Im using the Game pass version of CK3)

Steps to reproduce​

Click play on launcher, game starts and crashes instantly.

FIX FOR CRASH
i found a fix


edit:
1. Uninstall Game/App (CK3)

1.1 Sign out of Xbox App

2. Go to https://account.live.com/consent/Manage Find the CK3 app and click the Edit button. On the next page click "Remove These Permissions".

3. Re-Install Crusader Kings 3

4. Launch the app, it should ask if you grant permission for the app to access your Xbox data. Deny access or Just close the Sign in box.

5. You will get 2 Pop-ups one for loading PDX Launcher and one for CK3 (I'm not sure which one of these causes the problem but the cloud saves are the problem)

6. Go to the Game/app settings and connect Xbox. Now it should ask you if you want to use Cloud Data or Local Data. Choose Local Data.

By the way, I fixed the quick fix a little bit.
1) Uninstall Game/App (CK3) / Delete All PDX Launcher Files C:\Users\???\Documents\Paradox Interactive C:\Users\???\AppData\Roaming\Paradox Interactive
2) Sign out of Xbox App

5) If you want to play online, log in in the game. If you sync the data and log in when it asks for permissions, it crashes again, but if you log in when you come to the main menu in the game, you can play online.
