My SetPermissions.exe does not run...

That's something i always wanted to ask...

My SetPermissions.exe does not run...So i don't know what this is and if it is of any use!

Is it linked with the settings.cfg file that is next to it ?
This file i know that is useful since i open it with notepad and alter my preffered settings...

That is a most peculiar question: I have no idea what that is, what it does, or why it is there. Not part of the source I have either.
... Investigating. Some good soul included debug information in the file, but without the symbol database that does little good.

Correct, some installations had issues with savegames folder not being accessible. ( windows denies write requests )
SetPermissions when launched by loader will request UAC and give write permissions to the game folder so you can play the game the same way as always.
