I have just started to really get the hang of creating scenarios and now I need some ideas of what to create. If you have any ideas please post them and when I'm done I'llpost them.It may be a while thou right now I working on creating one where the Holy Roman Empire never really fell :D

Okay I quess nbody has any ideas.just thought that this post might attract some more attention.:p

The French and Indian War as it is known in the USA is already on the scenario forum in the form of the Seven Years War Scenario.

I'd love to see:
Unified Germany (1692-1792)
Unified Italy (1692-1792)

See if you can take over Europe in just a hundred years. Maybe those for the GC as well, but I like that time period a lot more.

How about one where the Roman Empire survives (it might be split between west and east) and the whole map of Europe is different?

Or how about a scenario where the Franks lost the battle of Tours?

Or how about one where the Hanestic League is a major power and controls Denmark-Norway and Sweden and has made a vassal out of Russia and is exploring the entire world?

First of all I like to thank everyone who gave me some ideas I'm currently working on a muckh diminised Roman empire where The East and west are allied against what left of Independant Europa. This will take some time thou having to start from the ground up takes time propaly have it uop in two or three weeks.:D

Could u delay it by altering the advancement to the Calvin event in the savefile?

That's one thought, and a good one. I'll have to look in the save file for where that is saved.

My thought was to set the starting conditions to the right year, and have the appropriate religious events set, but better to have some uncertainty, by having the events about to happen soon...

Nien

Make Europa with ONLY large countries... Spain, Italy, French, England, Germany Poland, Russia, Turkey, Austria-Hungary, Balkan* an own country* and Scandinavia*Dennmark, norway,Sweden,Iceland, Finland united, for you who dont know*
that would be nice.

I was considering the possibility of a scenario that started prior to 1492. I suppose one would have to declare the year as say 1550 instead of 1450, and a full campaign game wouldn't be possible, but it might make an interesting variant.

My thanks,

Netherlands IGC

I am currently playing as Netherlands IGC 2.1 and find it too easy.
(Maybe I'm getting better, but I also increased AI aggressiviness for this game)
It is 1650 and I have whole Noth&central America Africa from table west up 10-15 provinces. Whole India (Mysore Mughal conqured etc.) Ayttuha etc.

What happened is that I made trading posts before Spain/Portugal/England etc. got to good speed. Sure South America was colonised before I began, but rest of the world, lay quite open to me. Also since I had the maps from a mapwar with France, who got it from, my ally, England first :D.

So, what I would like to see is a game with Netherlands that begins let's say 1550 (or 1592) This way computer (Spain/Portugal/England/France/etc.) would/could have a lot of colonies already to slow Netherlands expansion.

I personly prefer to leave Europe as is and just concentrate on taking RotW.
(This way Badboy value stays small ;))

Comments?

Why coudn't you do a French Revolution/Napoleonic scenario?

You know the leaders.
Maybe the date 1792 is fixed but you could jump it back to 1769 and play the same timeframe.
Tek levels would be close to maxed out but not for everyone (Russia).
Infrastructure and tek could be handled nicely.

The biggest fear would be that there'd be too much cash floating about to build huge #'s of unassailable forts once everyone hits the end on tek development but at leats the armies won't be too big.

If I knew how to do this stuff, I would do a fantasia 1914 war scenario. Divide the world among the great powers of the era:
1.Great Britain
2.France
3.Germany
4.Austria-Hungary
5.Russia
6.USA
7.Italy
8.Japan

I don't think that the free countries of the era would be more than 90. Apart from Europe and South America, the rest of the world were just colonies. Of course you should have to:
- Forge the Great alliances of the time: the central powers and the Entente. Put Italy, Japan and the USA in an uncertain position.
- Readjust all populations to much greater numbers.
- The fortress-intensive gameplay of EU would perfectly mach the trench warfare of the era. Put max fortresses in the west front.
- Put the Bolsheviks as revolters with capital in Moscow and create the revolution and civil war with various events.

What about creating a Europe where no country is bigger than three provinces. This would create a Europe where alliances would be imperative, there would be different winners every game, and it would be very difficult for a nation to dominate every game.

That sounds like fun to me.
