Well, I recommend you arrange to play with someone in particular, then agree to be at Valkrieynet (I think it's spelled like that?), then in the game, click on multiplayer, then V...net, and go to room #1, where your friend will be as well. Start a game by clicking on the start game button, and have your friend join you. Let us know if that works for you.
