No characters to choose...

Greetings,

latest patch, when I try to start a single player game there is no character to choose among except the ones suggested for the bookmarked dates.
What happened??

I don't know, others aren't seeing this. Are you Steam or GamersGate? What version and checksum show on the main game menu?

That's completely wrong and probably the reason why you and no-one else are having this problem. Move any valued save games elsewhere and then uninstall the game. Delete all CK2 files both where GamersGate put them, and under MyDocuments. Then install the game somewhere new like c:\games\ck2\ then apply the 1.04c patch so it overwrites that same location.
