Bug? (I can't conquer these provinces!)

I wage war with the Emirate of Mar. I conquered some provinces but there are four provinces that I can't conquer! I am at war, I place my troops in their provinces but there is no siege!
Is this a bug?

Do you have any mercenaries? There is currently a bug that sometimes you cannot siege if you have mercenaries in your army. If this is the case, remove the mercenaries and you should be able to seige.

No, I don't have mercenaries...
I ll try make peace with them and after I will start a new war to see what will happen...

I don't know. Is Emirate the same as a County? Or is like a Dukedom or Kingdom?

If the later, maybe the provinces you can't siege are for a vassal of the Emirate of Mar. If that were so, you would need to be at war with the vassal as well in order to siege their provinces.
 
Most likely cause is that you are actually not at war with the owner of that province. Check in your relations map mode by clicking on one of your provinces and then look at the province that your army is refusing to besiege. Chances are you're at peace, even though their army might be being used by their liege against you.
 
Actually when I reloaded the game I could siege the target provinces...
I am sure I was at war with these provinces because emirate of Mar had no vassals. Anyway the target provinces was Kuwait, Damman, Al Hasa and Bahrein.

Well, I am not sure what needs to be logged here, as it seems to be a mix of known bugs, all duplicate, and it turns ok in the end...

Mmmh, will mark it as NOT A BUG / DUPLICATE and close it.

Feel free to reopen a bug thread if you still have one of this problem in 1.02.

Please, verify first that the bug doesn't exist already in the buglist OR in the forum.

And please, only report one bug by thread.

EDIT: And finally, please, use meaningful self-explanatory title for your bug thread.
